These are photographs I took during a trip to the U.K. the Summer of 2007 — in particular various areas in Scotland.   They represent a little over 7% of the total number of photos I took, with an focus, as usual, on creative composition rather than just documentation. As with previous trips to the U.K., especially as we ventured into the outer reaches, the Back of Beyond, if you will, the emphasis is on castles, abbeys, monuments, museums, stone circles, burial cairns, ruins, and other antiquities.   Enjoy!     Click on a thumbnail to see a larger version of the picture.
